Humor: International Journal of Humor Research

Humor: International Journal of Humor Research is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Walter de Gruyter on behalf of the International Society for Humor Studies. As of 2008, its editor-in-chief is Salvatore Attardo (Texas A&M University).[1][2]

The journal publishes interdisciplinary articles related to humor research: theoretical papers, original research reports, scholarly debates, notes, and letters to editors.[2] According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2010 impact factor is 0.780.[3]

History

The journal was established in 1988. Its first editor-in-chief was Victor Raskin.[4]
